My career and passion for design is spanning for over 15 years. I have worked in two continents and gathered a vast design and management skills. In depth knowledge and experience from involvement in every aspect of product promotion have enriched my expertise immensely. In the past I’ve been involved with different promotional stages such as crystallising the core campaign concept to the execution of its thematic design. Although I carried out task of a design manager before, my heart always belonged to my desk where my computer is. I find designing an uplifting act that kindles my artistic soul more than anything else. As for the medium, I’m equally fluid in print, motion and broadcast design.
Soft skills
I am a designer. I get my inspiration from the colours, tone, shades and both light and darkness we are living in. Observing every motion and sound is my hobby and it helps me to focus on the details of my design work. I am particularly good at picking up the natural flow of every action and that helps me to achieve the desired emotional expression of my design.
A seasoned design manager and a design strategist. I create practical design that serves its purpose, and that is to sell. I am no just focusing on the pure aesthetics but also keep an eye on the commercial side of it. My goal is to create designs that are practical and have a balance between creativity and market logic.
I am a storyteller. My design works come with narratives that are interesting and full of life and vigour. I believe every design, static or motion is a story, which carries a message for audience. Photoshop is my favourite tool but I always start with pencil and storyboard.
Above all, seasoned and experienced. I took my first job as a graphic designer way back in 2004. I was a very confident newcomer with a bag full of awards from the high school and the college. But nearly 15 years in the industry I’m still striving to learn more. I never shy away from learning new skills and this hunger is the key force that is keeping me going for perfection.
